Welcome to Six Sentence Sunday!
Hello everyone! I took a break from Six Sunday last week but am happy to rejoin you all with this week’s snippet from The Daemon Whisperer, my Urban Fantasy WIP from my Liminals series. If you use Goodreads please consider adding this to your to-read list so you can be the first to know when it releases this summer. Thanks!
In this six Meri (Meriwether) Storm seeks out her confidant Annamie’s advice after the job she’s done for Azimuth’s cabal. Oh, by the way, Annamie is a powerful psychic. Enjoy!
Annamie stood with her arms crossed, looking every part the angry mother who’d caught Meri with her hand in the cookie jar. “What have you gone and done to yourself this time, girl?” she tsked.
“I made a bad deal, evidently,” Meri answered.
“You think?” Annamie spat at the pavement. “Was it worth it to you?”
“You’re the one who insisted my fate required I take the next job, Annamie, and now I’ll have my parents killer on a platter as payment,” Meri shrugged.
Hmm, Meri and Annamie have been close for years. Let’s hope they work this one out.
Please head on over to Six Sunday and check out the other participating authors. Cheers! 🙂

Of course they’ll work it out. Meri needs a strong friend in her corner. . . Great six!
Great six, Candice. Love the character of Meri – that’s one determined and spunky female!
I want to know what Annamie’s psychic abilitites have picked up. If it’s upset her it must be interesting! 🙂
It’s tricky when friends quarrel. Great six
