Welcome to Six Sentence Sunday!
Hello everyone! Here is another snippet from The Daemon Whisperer, book one in my Urban Fantasy series titled The Liminals. If you use Goodreads please consider adding this to your to-read list so you’ll be among the first to know when it releases. Thanks a bundle!
Also, if you’d like to be added to the list to get an ARC, please let me know! I’m looking for reviewers to add to my list, and I’ll be sending out pre-proofed copies by August.
So anyway, here’s a scene between Meri, Orias and now Kobol. Orias has had a vision triggered, and Meri doesn’t know what to do with herself. Enjoy!
Meri remained in the room and watched awestruck as the miasma expanded and clung to the mirrors, rolling down like smoke over a river where the images formed and glided. The images took color and shape and Orias faced them down, like some grand composer over a play. Meri somehow knew she only watched where he delved deeply.
Kobol skidded into the room. “C’mon, Meri, we need to leave him to work out his vision in peace,” he whispered, grabbing her by the arm. Meri allowed him to drag her out, mesmerized by the forms taking shape in Orias’ mirrors.
That’s all I can give you with Six. 😉 Again, you’ll get more to this scene next week, minus some spoilers. 😉
Please head on over to Six Sunday and check out the other participating authors. Cheers!

Awesome stuff. Can’t blame Meri for being mesmerized by what he’s doing.
Thanks Ryan! Too bad I couldn’t show you what they both saw. 😉
Great Six. The visuals drew me in. Loved it.
I’d be mesmerized too, and it’s intriguing that he needs to be alone…
Cool! What a great image! 🙂
Your description is excellent! What a great scene.
